About
Alexandre Ferdinand Maubert lives and works between Paris and Kyoto. A resident at Villa Kujoyama in 2012, he was a finalist for the HSBC Prize for Photography in 2015. His work is part of the collections of FRAC Auvergne and several private collections, including the Juan Mulder Collection. His work has been exhibited at Les Rencontres d'Arles (2012), the New York Photo Festival (2010), the Kassel Film Festival, MACRO — Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome, the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Foam Museum in Amsterdam, and Tish Gallery in New York. In Japan, he is represented by Mori Yu Gallery in Kyoto.
